Work Based Learning - 31/01/2019 (7 hours)
Today I continued with the unreal project and started adding currency, audio and worked on the user interface.
Here is where i set up the cost of the towers, you can change how much they cost in the tower data table because I created it a a variable.
This de-select is set up so that if the player accidentally clicks the wrong tower they want, they can unclick by pressing the right mouse button. Here is the custom event to destroy the ghost tower.
This is the input action which tells you that you can un-select the tower with the builder tower reference (Ghost mesh) and cancel building the tower.
I've added onto the shooting projectile so that an arrow sound will play when the tower notices an enemy and shoots it.
This is my blueprint for the sound when the arrows hit the skeletons.
This is a blueprint for the towers to be able to move and aim at the AI but I won't be using this in the level because towers aren't meant to move to face the enemy.
Here is the spawn wave button Felix created to match the user interface.
Here is the user interface menu that will stay on the screen at all times. Felix designed the image for the user interface and we decided to pick blue so it doesn't contrast with the green throughout our level and so it looks colourful and appealing to the eye.
